Exporting commodities from New Zealand

PIER Search

Commodity exports from New Zealand must meet the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country before being eligible for importation.

MPI obtains phytosanitary requirements from importing countries, and publishes these as Importing Country Phytosanitary Requirements (ICPR) documents. ICPRs include the phytosanitary requirements that must be met by New Zealand exporters.

This tool enables you to search for commodities and the countries or regions you wish to export to, and provides a high-level snapshot of what is required. It also includes direct links to the ICPRs where you can find further details.

PIER Search includes information about a wide range of commodity types, expanded and updated regularly. PIER Search commodity types
